Pigging Transmitters
- All O-rings should be replaced with 90 durometer Viton O-rings. This should be done to reduce the possibility of leaking at high pressures.
- Transmitters must be operated with the plastic sleeve inside the battery compartment. Failure to do so will void the manufactures warranty. This sleeve prevents batteries from shorting out when they shift inside the compartment, due to vibration.
- Delrin cans must be used with non-stainless steel model transmitters. Failure to do so will void the manufacturer's warranty.
- If using transmitters in dry gas lines, contact the manufacturer. Extra cushioning is needed in the battery compartment for this type of operation, and can be provided free of charge.
Receivers
- The antenna jacks in older model receivers (WT12B and older) do not retain their conductivity after repeated use. A modification can be done to replace them with a superior jack design to resolve the problem. Please contact us for more information.
