Transmitters

Wavetrak Electronics' patented construction allows for a stronger signal from a smaller transmitter. All transmitters are powered by easy to replace standard size alkaline batteries, and are built using tough stainless steel housings. Standard equipment can me customize on request to meet a specific battery life or signal strength requirement, as well as to accommodate lithium (3.6V) batteries.

Delrin cans are also available, and recommended, to serve as additional sealing and protection for the transmitter. The use of Delrin cans is recommended in most pipeline applications.

The operating temperature range of the transmitter is generally limited by the operating range of the batteries used to power it. Sealing o-rings are standard size Viton 90, and should be replaced after each use.
